After a very close 2 sets with some fantastic rallies between both boys, Adam came out eventual winner 7-6 6-4. Both boys should be very proud of themselves and their performance.
Next up was the U12’s match between Archie & Ayaan. Both players played some enjoyable tennis and the second set was very close. Score at the end 6-0 7-5 to Archie.

Following the ladies singles it was now time for the men to hit the court, Jaiden v Martyn. Jaiden the defending champion was on fire winning 6-1 6-0 in a match Martyn would rather forget!
The doubles matches were next in the September sunshine, with Coach Matt Corp and Simon Webb teaming up against Mike and Sam. Scores show both couples had a good battle with Mike and Sam taking the final set to win the trophy 7-5 4-6 6-4.
Next was the turn of the ladies doubles. Olivia and Margaret v Anna and Sophie. It seemed Olivia had recovered from her singles defeat when her and team player Margaret took the game 6-2 6-0, in a great performance.
The final match of the day was the mixed doubles between Marsha and Stuart and Marie and Martyn. After a closely fought first set singles winner Marsha’s winning streak rubbed off on the pair and they won the first set 7-6. Coach Martyn and Marie played on, dug deep and recovered the second set 6-4, game on! The third and final set saw the dream team continue to gain control and win 6-0. Congratulations to both couples for getting to the final, a great achievement.
