Beechcroft Tennis and Multisports Club has a number of qualified, first aid trained and CRB checked coaches who provide both group and private coaching in a variety of sports. Our coaches are friendly and professional so please get in touch if you have a question or would like to book a session.
Matt Corp – Head Tennis Coach
Matt Corp graduated with a degree in Sports Studies in 2007, he is a level 3 qualified tennis coach with over 10 years experience and has been Head Coach at a local Tennis Club for almost 7 years. He is passionate about getting more people involved in sport and so made the decision to work alongside Paul Murtagh to take on Beechcroft Sports Club. Matt is involved in all the sports at Beechcroft but mainly focuses on developing the tennis sessions.
Martyn Williams – Club Coach – Tennis, Table Tennis & Football
Martyn recently graduated from Gloucestershire University with a sports coaching foundation degree. He has been coaching for over 2 years with qualifications in both tennis and football. He is involved with many of the tennis and table tennis club nights as well as junior football coaching and walking football coaching.
Rob Tattersall – Club Coach – Tennis
Qualifications: Bsc Hons degree in Geoscience and Geophysics from University of Birmingham, Senior Club Coach award (Level 4) from LTA, Equity in your coaching, safeguarding children and DBS checked.
Experience: I have been coaching full time for 14 years in the Warwickshire area working with a wide variety of ages and ability. Head coach at Billesley Tennis Centre from 2010-2012, Junior performance co-ordinator for Coolsportz at Warwick TC and Henley-in-Arden TC 2012-2016 before taking up the coaching role here at Beechcroft.
Jessica Mapp – Club Coach – Toddler Tennis
Jess is a level 2 coach who has been coaching tennis to people all ages and abilities on and off for 8 years. Whilst studying for a Masters at Loughborough University she worked part time for 2 years as the University Tennis Coordinator increasing tennis provision for students, staff and community. She now splits her time between running her business Toddler Tennis (www.toddlertennis.co.uk) and working with local clubs to develop provision and increase number of members.
Alex Navarro – Club Coach – Tennis
Welcome Alex Navarro to the Beechcroft coaching Team. Spanish born, he has over 20 years playing experience, reaching top 500 in Spain and has been coaching for 8 years in Spain, London & Croatia. His coaching approach is suitable for all levels from beginners to pros and his passion for coaching tennis at all levels is exceptional whilst coaching the physical and positive mental attributes of tennis in a fun, safe environment.
Beechcroft are very proud to have Alex in the team and is an important piece of where the club looking to go in the near future. Alex is offering introduction first lesson at £15 and then £20 per hour.
Christian – Table Tennis Coach
Christian is our qualified Table Tennis coach who runs the clubs program for adults and juniors. Chris works with will all ages and abilities including performance high level players. Chris has played himself at elite level and has fantastic knowledge of the game. You will always see Chris with a smile on his face. Private lessons can be arranged on request, please contact the club for booking and further information.

This is a slower version of the game which aims to provide an inclusive activity for those who don’t feel fit enough to run or a stepping stone back to netball.
